The most of you know yet he is from Athens, Greece. This is only one small information about him, ’cause the fact that matters is his music! I love each and every masterpiece he created. And I’m not the first who realized his talent, so he already was on BBC Radio 1 ! Belive me I don’t exaggerate when I’m saying: This guy knows how to make samples even better !

Honestly he is one of my favourite musicians and I do not understand why he is still unsigned. Listen to his music and you will hear and FEEL that music matters ! At the moment there are new tracks out, I could hear all the time (for more: look at the end of the interview!). This filtered, sampled music ist so unbelievible f*** great. It’s music you can listen to at every day or night time, just put it on your mp3-player and LOVE IT !

In athens I love the nightlife cause everyday of the week there’s always something to do. I hate the morning traffic though

Music is something I Do to get away from all the stress, it helps me relax and leave everything else behind for a while. Music is my drug I guess !

I guess we also know that feeling for sure !!!
And how would you describe your own music with a few keywords ?

Until now it was classic Disco House / french House mostly, later on I might do some other stuff too, who knows

What was the reason, why you started making music ?

I don’t know I’ve started since I was like 8 so I guess it’s something that makes me happy.

And what is your inspiration ?

Exams, when I’m in an exam period all good ideas come to my head .  It’s true !

Is there any intention/message in your music ? If Yes, which ?

To make people dance/sing/think, just that I guess nothing complicated.

It comes from my last name plus it’s easy to remember.

What can we expect from you in the future? What are your plans and when maybe some new stuff will follow ?

Currently I’m thinking of making my productions better so I’m gonna concentrate more on quality rather than quantity so as to deliver some good stuff . So I guess new tracks will come after I take my holidays in August .
I also hope to arrange some gigs here in Athens or maybe somewhere else in Europe if that’s possible and finally be able to meet all those myspace friends I have all over the world!

This is my first interview and I hope it wont be the last , lol

What does make the music of Crydamoure Records so special for you ?

I do see Crydamoure as a label, which without big commercials, has touched many people. A great story was created with fans, waiting impatiently for the next release. It’s a typical example of sound, with amazing loops. So great.

Music is universal and exists for everyone. It’s the best way of evasion and, just for one song, to forget all problems and worries.

I know exactly what you mean !
And how would you describe your own music with a few keywords ?

Simply: refreshing, charming, amusing, disco, filter

What was the reason, why you started making music ?

There is no single reason. I love music since my youngest days and I have always lived with it. In 1999 I decided to play the music I love the way I wished and I wanted to see it evolved.
I started with editing copy/cut samplers and with random tries. Then, with the help of new software and composition material to write music by yourself, I was able to accomplish this dream again and again.

And what is your inspiration ?

Just as it is coming to me: Daft Punk, Crymadoire, Alan Braxe, Patrick Alavi, DJ Sneak, Démon, Sébastien Léger, Fred Falke, Cassius and even more.

Great artists so far.
Is there any intention/message in your music ? If Yes, which ?

Peace and love flew in the music. Music don’t have rules or laws.
No war, no violence. Even more, anyone can do it, and pay tribute to all artists.

You are also known as Dj Puipui, so tell us: What were your biggest and the most terrible moments as a Dj ?

My best moment: my sister’s wedding ! It was a good challenge, because I had to mix disco, rock, and not forget about zouk and rap. It was a great evening and such a pleasure to listen from time to time the mix.

My worst moment: an improvised mix in the “dub café”, a french bar. There no vinyl that I was used to mix in the dj’s selection and some very techno parts, with on top of that a synchronisation problem with the BPM, it was an hard time!

Where is the place you love to listen to music the most ? (unimportant whether it’s on your mp3-player or whether it’s live music)

In my living room to discover news on blogs. In my bed to sleep. Or mostly in my car when I work, because 75% of my work is in my car, always, everywhere !

There already was another big artist on Let Us Know who also loves listening in his car. Hazard ?!

DEMASI MEETS KOKII are in the house, and no they shouldn’t be called “Demasi & Kokii“. If you want to know why, you should read the interview.
I’ve already told you a lot about their music and they should be known by you yet. They are good friends from Sweden and to say it in Kokii’s words with reference to the upper photo: “Demasi has hair and I’m bald hahaha“.

Do you know that I’ve got also swedish roots on my mother’s side long long time ago ?! Who cares. The sound from Gothenburg is big, fantastic, housy. The latest stuff (Calling Koki and Talisman) is calmer and deeper than the older tracks from them, but I love listening to it, ’cause my thoughts slip away on a smooooth way !

Describe Swedish girls in some words and tell us, why they are maybe different from other ones?

Swedish girls are beautiful just as they are described in American movies. Maybe not called Olga or Helga, but they are nice. The only problem is that they might be a little weird at times. But who really cares? They are Swedish, that itself is pure gold.

I don’t know anything about music. In my line you don’t have to (quoting Elvis Presley)

Music for pleasure. We don’t have any intentions to change anyone.

What was the reason, why you started making music ?

For a very strange reason I went into a music store when I was 12 and bought me a bass guitar and started to play and of course listening to Bob Marley my whole life I knew I had to work with music in some way.

What is your inspiration ?

I get inspired by people with knowledge.

The funny thing is that people still thinks our artist name is ‘Demasi & Kokii’ but it’s actually ‘Demasi meets Kokii’. Demasi thought it would be proper since both of us are from two very different worlds.
